We can’t say it enough: the best way to appreciate a landscape is from above.
This is certainly true for all Canadian provinces, which are bursting with mind-blowingly beautiful panoramas and natural resources. The Jasper SkyTram team knows this well, and every day they continue to honour the vision of Alberta adventurer William McGregor, who dreamed of sharing what he saw from the summit of Whistlers Mountain in 1960 with the rest of the world. Construction of the SkyTram began in 1963 and was completed the following year, just in time for summer. Over 50 years later, six million visitors have admired an eagle’s eye view of the famous Rockies, just a stone’s throw from Jasper.
Afraid of heights? The SkyTram system is incredibly comfortable and safe, allowing you to make the most of your experience… You can also stop at the lower station to grab something to eat and relax before continuing on your adventure.
