The Francophone Heritage, Culture and Tourism Corridor developed by RDÉE Canada and its national Network is funded by the federal Department of Canadian Heritage in connection with Canada’s 150th anniversary.
The Corridor aims to:
- highlight the Francophone and Acadian heritage and culture in every Canadian province and territory;
- ensure the development of Francophone tourism materials and French-language service suppliers;
- promote those materials in domestic and international Francophone tourism markets;
- develop the tourism market in Canada to generate economic benefits.
Francophone and bilingual tourist sites, events and products are selected in the provinces and territories to allow visitors to experience unique experiences.
